HUNINGTON PROPERTIES, Inc. SELLS 50,000 SF RETAIL CENTER

SPRING, TX, June 19, 2013 – Hunington Properties, Inc. a full service commercial brokerage company has announced the sale of Woodlands Gateway Plaza a 50,000 square-foot retail property, consisting of four buildings, located in Spring, TX. The property is at the northeast intersection of Interstate 45 and Rayford Road and consists of 4 acres of land.  The property is currently 82% occupied with a mix of local tenants including Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits, Crabby Daddy’s Seafood, and the Woodlands Fish Market.

Todd A. Carlson represented an out of state investor who purchased the shopping center in 2002.  The buyer was a local investor who purchased the property all-cash. The property was challenging to sell due to another property that had to be refinanced prior to transfer due to a cross-collateralized note.
