David Abrams

David Abrams is a Texas based attorney and real estate professional who brings a unique combination of construction experience, legal expertise, and business insight to his role at Hunington.

David began his career working on construction crews in North Carolina, where he developed a lasting respect for craftsmanship. He later served in the Harris County District Attorneys Office, where six years of trial work strengthened his skills in advocacy, negotiation, and leadership. In 2014, he transitioned into real estate and development, managing complex acquisitions and construction projects across Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. As a founder of AWA Law Firm, he built a boutique practice focused on real estate transactions, estate planning, family law, title review, and entity structuring, earning a strong reputation for strategic and practical execution.

At Hunington, David uses his multidisciplinary background to guide projects from acquisition through completion, ensuring legal strength and long term value.

David lives in Houston with his wife and two children and enjoys supporting them in their many sports and activities. He is also an avid adventurer and recently fulfilled a lifelong goal of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro.
